This notice explains what personal information Epic Paradise Tours collects when you contact us, why, and your rights under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Epic Paradise Tours (Pty) Ltd, Co. Reg. No. 2022/594232/07, King William’s Town, Eastern Cape, South Africa, is the responsible party for your information. Our Information Officer is Ingrid Schenk, who runs our administration. You can reach her at [email protected] or on +27 79 500 3678.
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, country of residence, phone number, WhatsApp number, the kind of trip you are interested in, your travel dates, the number of adults and children travelling, and anything you choose to tell us in your message. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details WhatsApp shares with us, such as your number and name.
We use it only to reply to your enquiry, to plan and quote your trip, and — if you book — to arrange it. We ask for both a phone and a WhatsApp number because many of our guests prefer to plan by WhatsApp. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you updated.
Only with the people and services needed to answer you and arrange your trip:
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to answer you and plan your trip. If you book, we keep booking records for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Under POPIA you may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): [email protected], 010 023 5200, Woodmead North Office Park, 54 Maxwell Drive, Woodmead, Johannesburg, 2191.
Our website uses an encrypted connection, enquiries are stored in a private area of the site that only we can open, and email travels over encrypted connections.

South Africa Flight MapWe checked exactly what this website uses. It does not use advertising or social-media tracking. It uses Google Analytics only if you allow it.
Separately, and without cookies, the site keeps an anonymous daily count of taps on our WhatsApp, phone and email links and of enquiries sent, with the page they came from. It records nothing about who you are.
Analytics and any marketing tools only run after you allow them in the banner. You can change your choice at any time: .

Every trip is quoted individually around your dates, your group and your interests rather than sold off a shelf. We quote in USD, Euro or ZAR. Asking costs you nothing and there is no obligation.
Send us a message with rough dates and who is coming. That is genuinely enough — no lengthy booking form and no card details. If the days you have will not cover what you are asking for, we will say so up front rather than take the booking and disappoint you.
Tell us roughly when you can travel and who is coming. We will come back with a real plan rather than a brochure package.
Rough dates and who is coming is enough to start. No lengthy booking form, no card details.
If the days you have will not cover it, we say so up front and adjust rather than take the booking and disappoint you.
Nothing sold off a shelf. Priced against your dates, group and interests — in USD, Euro or ZAR.
Land-based four to sixteen, live-aboard six to eight, big-game fishing four to five. Never a crowd.
