Barefoot Beach Weddings With A Malagasy Ceremony.
Everything that goes into saying “I do” on the island.

Exchange vows with an informal traditional Malagasy ceremony, adding local culture, music and traditions to the day.

We suggest doing the legalities in your home country, so the day on Nosy Be can be all about the celebration.

From an intimate barefoot beach wedding to a larger celebration with family and friends, every detail is arranged around your group.

Nosy Be tours run from 1 April to mid-January. There are no tours from mid-January to the end of March, which is cyclone season. Guests get a visa on arrival for €35.

From intimate elopements to full family celebrations, our on-the-ground team handles the entire itinerary.
The ceremony is the start of the evening, not the end of it. Nosy Be after dark is lanterns on the beach, live Malagasy music and a long dinner that nobody is in a hurry to finish.
Food is the centrepiece — grilled fish, prawns, calamari and crab, lifted with coconut, lime and local herbs, and tropical fruit that was on a tree that morning. Traditional drumming and dancing can be part of the celebration, and the island’s French and Italian influence means the catering is genuinely good.
Guests who want to carry on can head into the island’s bars and night markets; those who don’t can take a chair down to a bonfire on the sand. Both are a few minutes apart.
Guests who fly in for the wedding usually stay a few days. Point them at our excursions, or book group days out for everyone.
Weddings here range from two people on a beach to a full party taking over a villa. We arrange accommodation to match the group, and handle arrivals so guests aren’t left working out Nosy Be on their own.
Two people, a beach and a ceremony — nothing else to organise.
Ask About Elopements →Take a villa for the group and make a week of it rather than a day.
Ask About Villas →Reefs, sandbars, lemurs and island tours for the days either side of the wedding.
See Experiences →From a two-person elopement to a villa full of family — tell us the numbers and the date you have in mind.
Rough dates and who is coming is enough to start. No lengthy booking form, no card details.
If the days you have will not cover it, we say so up front and adjust rather than take the booking and disappoint you.

A barefoot ceremony on the sand, and the evening that follows.
It is an informal traditional Malagasy ceremony, with local culture, music and traditions. We suggest doing the legalities in your home country and keeping the day on Nosy Be for the celebration itself.
Anything from an intimate barefoot beach wedding for the two of you to a larger celebration with family and friends. Land-based parties run four to sixteen, so most groups fit comfortably.
Tours run from 1 April to mid-January. We run nothing from mid-January to the end of March, which is cyclone and rainy season.
Every detail is arranged around you: the ceremony and the local traditions, airport transfers, accommodation, half-board meals and the excursions in between. You concentrate on the celebration.
They get the island. Reefs a few minutes from shore, lemurs on Nosy Komba, island and plantation tours, and a proper night out on Nosy Be. We build their days alongside yours.
Into Fascene Airport on Nosy Be itself, never Antananarivo on the mainland. From Johannesburg, SA Airlink flies direct on Tuesday mornings; from Europe, via Milan or Rome. Our Madagascar travel tips list every route.
